Inconel MA754 Material Properties Overview

As a manufacturer and supplier in China, Arialloy supplies cost effective inconel MA754 products.

Inconel MA754 (UNS N07754) is a nickel chromium superalloy strengthened by a fine dispersion of yttrium oxide. Its nominal composition includes approximately 20% chromium and 0.6% yttrium oxide by weight, together with small amounts of titanium, aluminum and iron. Mechanical alloying distributes the oxide particles throughout the metal powder, which is subsequently consolidated and hot worked.

These stable particles obstruct dislocation movement and help preserve strength during prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures. Chromium supports oxidation resistance, while the nickel rich matrix provides structural stability. Final annealing establishes the coarse grain structure needed for high temperature creep resistance, with grain shape and orientation influencing the properties of the finished material.

Inconel MA754 Corrosion Resistance

Inconel MA754 offers strong resistance to high temperature oxidation. Chromium supports the formation of a protective oxide scale. High nickel content and the protective surface scale also improve resistance to nitridation in suitable atmospheres.

Tests in air containing 5% water vapor at 1177°C showed low metal loss after 1008 hours. Resistance in molten salts requires separate assessment, as sodium sulfate and sodium chloride mixtures can cause substantial attack. Atmosphere composition, surface deposits and exposure duration should therefore be considered alongside the operating temperature.

Inconel MA754 Mechanical Properties

Inconel MA754 combines dispersion strengthening with mechanical properties that depend on grain structure and orientation. At 21°C, typical longitudinal elastic modulus values are approximately 149 GPa for textured bar and 203 GPa for untextured bar. In coarse grained material, transverse strength and ductility can be lower than longitudinal values, particularly during high temperature creep.

Inconel MA754 Temperature Characteristics

Inconel MA754 retains useful creep strength above 1000°C through its stable oxide dispersion and properly developed grain structure. Its approximate solidus temperature is 1400°C (2550°F).

Thermal conductivity rises from about 14.3 W/m·K at 26°C to 32.6 W/m·K at 1000°C, while thermal expansion follows the general behavior of other nickel chromium alloys. A strong crystallographic texture can improve thermal fatigue resistance by lowering longitudinal elastic stiffness.

We handle inconel ma754 orders through our sales team. Send your requirements to sales@arialloy.com or complete the form at the bottom of this page. We will provide a quotation based on your needs. After receiving your PO, we will issue the PI for payment. Production starts once the prepayment is received, and we will notify you when the material is ready.

We provide fast quotation support through our professional sales team, with most inconel ma754 inquiries answered within 24 hours. If we cannot quote your request, we will promptly let you know.

We normally provide inconel ma754 quotations on an FOB basis. This means the buyer generally designates a freight forwarder, while we cooperate with the forwarder to complete the local shipping formalities. For added convenience, we can also arrange the shipment and check the applicable transportation charges.

Since the alloy is composed of several metallic elements, its price is partly determined by the cost of each major raw material. Nickel, chromium, aluminum, and yttrium oxide are important contributors to superalloy pricing, and fluctuations in their values can cause the finished alloy price to move.

The inconel ma754 alloy is smelted by our own production team. We have more than 30 vacuum smelting and electroslag remelting furnaces, ranging from 50 kg to 5,000 kg in capacity. This selection enables us to avoid applying a large-batch requirement to every order.

Our pre shipment documentation for inconel ma754 includes a material test report prepared according to industry standards. The report covers chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, material standard, and heat number.

The composition of inconel ma754 is monitored through the entire production process. We control material ratios during smelting, conduct chemical analysis during processing, and use PMI testing on the finished material. Independent lab verification is available when needed.
