Incoloy

Incoloy alloys are nickel-iron-chromium alloys that provide a practical balance of corrosion resistance, heat resistance, mechanical strength, thermal stability, and fabrication performance. Their iron content gives the alloy family a different composition and cost structure from many higher nickel superalloys, while nickel and chromium support resistance to oxidation, carburization, sulfidation, and various corrosive media. Depending on the selected grade, additional elements such as molybdenum, copper, titanium, aluminum, or niobium may improve resistance to acids, seawater, stress corrosion cracking, creep, or prolonged high temperature exposure.
